Adjunct Professor of Field Engineering and Site Surveying

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Professor to teach courses in Field Engineering and Site Surveying. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging coursework that reflects the college's core values and teaching field. The position requires a strong understanding of culturally responsive teaching and the ability to meet professional standards for faculty in accordance with college policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follow the approved course descriptions and syllabi established by the Division faculty and administered by the associate dean/director.
  • Teaching assignments may be on one or more of the college's campuses or off-site locations and may include evening and weekend programs.
  • May include Dual Credit courses.

Supplemental Functions:
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with college policies, procedures and core values.

Requirements:
Associate degree in a related field and three (3) years' work experience as a full-time crew chief, SIT or similar. Teaching experience is desired.
