Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. As an EMT, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care and transportation to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency medical calls and provide basic life support procedures
  • Transport patients to medical facilities while providing ongoing care and attention
  • Collaborate with other emergency medical services personnel to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and protocols
Requirements:
  • Current certification as an EMT by the State of Tennessee Department of Public Health Office of Emergency Medical Services
  • Current certification in CPR - Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association or the American Safety and Health Institute
  • Valid Motor Vehicle Operator's license
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and make sound judgments in emergency situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced emergency medical environment, often in high-stress situations. The EMT must be able to lift and maneuver 150 pounds with assistance, walk up and down stairs, and sit or stand for long periods.
