About This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Server Host at Smithfield Foods. As a Server Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a favorable impression of our restaurant, and creating a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and record dining reservations via the telephone or digital platform.
  • Ensure the proper setup of dining and service areas, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Present menus and make recommendations to guests, learning all menu items and specials.
  • Assist room service staff when needed and check guests in and out of hotel suites.
  • Help guests with luggage and serve breakfast to overnight guests.
  • Manage event-related work, including setting up tables and maintaining the exterior and interior of the restaurant.
  • Resolve guests' concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED and 1+ years' customer service experience in the hospitality industry, preferred.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekend and evening shifts.
  • Customer service-focused, team player with a willingness to help other employees when needed.
  • Ability to work 6+ hour shifts with long periods of walking and standing.
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
