Job Summary

Stability Direct is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Palisades Park, New Jersey. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, from adults to neonates. Your expertise will be essential in administering various forms of respiratory therapy, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer respiratory therapy to patients, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medications.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust therapy as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
  • Participate in code blue and rapid response teams.
  • Perform routine and emergency tracheostomy tube changes.
  • Document patient care and therapy in the electronic medical record.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current RCP and RRT certifications.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Experience in respiratory care, preferably in an ICU or pediatric setting.
