Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Health Advocates Network. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing education to patients and families. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide respiratory care services, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Provide education to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program
  • 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure in applicable state (NJ)
  • American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers
  • Additional certifications may be required
