Position Overview:

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Practical Nursing Specialist role, candidates must possess:
- A current, unencumbered nursing license in the state of practice
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including experience with electronic health records (PCC experience is a plus)

Key Responsibilities:
The Practical Nursing Specialist will be responsible for:
- Implementing systems that address the unique needs of each resident
- Assessing healthcare needs, making nursing diagnoses, and developing interdisciplinary care plans
- Communicating care plans effectively to ensure continuity of care
- Establishing and maintaining functional communication with staff, residents, families, and medical personnel
- Treating all residents, staff, and facility property with respect and confidentiality
