Recess Monitor

Catholic Schools of Northeast Ohio is seeking a Recess Monitor to join our team. The Recess Monitor will be responsible for supervising students during recess and lunch to ensure a safe and orderly environment. Key responsibilities include:

**Safety and Supervision**
Monitoring student safety on the playground and in the cafeteria
Ensuring students are safe when using play equipment

**Student Management**
Monitoring student arrival and departure
Managing student movement between the cafeteria, playground, and halls

**Communication and Reporting**
Communicating with students and staff in a respectful and effective way
Reporting accidents or incidents to the appropriate staff member

**Additional Responsibilities**
Providing feedback to teachers and administrators about student discipline
Encouraging students to be active, punctual, and cooperative
Cleaning up spills and ensuring clear routes for emergencies
Assisting with evacuations in an emergency
Complying with all board policies, drug-free workplace rules, and administrative guidelines

The ideal candidate will be able to read and understand verbal and written directions, and use technology to support their responsibilities. This is a 5 day/week commitment, but we will consider subs and 2-3 day commitments.
