As a Pharmacy Manager at Kroger, you will be responsible for leading the pharmacy team to achieve exceptional customer service, maximize financial performance, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws and corporate policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and develop the pharmacy team to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales goals.
- Monitor and control pharmacy inventory, pricing, and generic utilization to minimize costs and maximize profitability.
- Develop and implement sales plans and initiatives to drive sales growth and customer engagement.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate mandated controlled substance operating procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to achieve warehouse utilization goals, reduce unnecessary overstock, and improve fill rates.
- Supervise and coach direct reports to ensure they meet performance expectations and provide regular feedback.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Ph.D.) from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy.
- Minimum 2+ years of related retail experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to read and interpret prescriptions and documents.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and maintain confidentiality of information.
