Alivia Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team. As a Production Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our printing and mailing services.
Key Responsibilities- Printing Services: Assist in the production of automated printing and mailing of communication pieces, including PGE billing statements, notices, letters, and other documents.
- Equipment and Supplies: Perform routine hardware maintenance, place service calls as needed, and maintain inventory of printing materials and supplies.
- Team Support: Support the production team to ensure daily schedules and production goals are met, and fill in as needed to ensure production needs are met.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; two or fewer years of experience in print or digital production, customer service, or a related field.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of printing and mailing industry practices, automated printing applications and equipment, and relevant USPS rules and regulations.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for longer periods, lift 35-40 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Work is performed in a production environment with moderate noise levels and requires the ability to work in a team environment. Must be able to work a variable schedule, including long hours and weekends as needed.
