Job Summary

Cayuga Health System is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Seneca View. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse in accordance with Facility Policy.
  • Take patient vital signs and report changes in condition to the care team.
  • Practice ethically and professionally within your scope, advocating for patient needs.
  • Maintain clinical competence in your care area, including completing required education within a stated timeframe.
  • Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and document patient information accurately in EMR/Point Click Care.
  • Keep other nursing personnel and the responsible RN informed about patient changes and observations.
  • Participate in unit councils and staff meetings.

Requirements
  • Graduate of a Nursing Program.
  • Current NYS LPN License.
  • CPR/BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior patient care and customer service experience.

Work Environment
  • Onsite at Seneca View.

Compensation
  • $24.00 to $33.00 per hour.
