Packaging Stability Specialist

This role will be responsible for executing product shelf-life testing and packaging compatibility stability testing under the direction of a shelf-life lead or category lead. The category scientist will direct the work, and packaging engineering will be a key stakeholder in receiving the data created.
Responsibilities:
Initiating shelf life/stability studies: Attend kick-off meetings, take notes, and create shelf-life intake/request forms. Receive and unpack shelf-life products, store them in designated conditions, and schedule team organoleptic benchtops at designated shelf-life markers.
Recording and documenting data: Capture team commentary in designated databases, submit samples for analytical chemistry, and compile sensory data over time.
Providing updates and support: Provide interim updates to the packaging team as needed and support packaging-related projects, including stability testing for productivity or development.
Requirements:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and various knowledge management systems, such as SAP, SharePoint, and Labware.
Technical skills, including entering information into databases, pulling together information for reporting, and publishing reports.
Ability to lift heavy boxes and work in a laboratory setting. Maintain a schedule and attend to small details, identifying and raising issues to supervisors.
Work Hours:
32 hours per week
