Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to the engineering team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects and solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for engineering issues and concerns, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve complex problems.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in areas such as heat transfer, fluid flow, piping stress, and mechanical stress, applying this knowledge to support engineering calculations and analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Advanced Industrial Management (AIM) system team to ensure seamless integration and effective use of the system.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor junior engineers, promoting professional growth and development within the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 15 years of practical experience in responsible engineering duties, with a strong background in design, maintenance, operations, repair, and testing of submarine systems.
  • 10 years of experience with the Advanced Industrial Management (AIM) system.
  • Four-year degree in a professional engineering curriculum or equivalent education, training, and experience.
  • Professional registration, written test, specific academic courses, or completion of a related curriculum supplemented by professional engineering experience.
  • U.S. citizenship and a fully adjudicated security clearance.
