Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer I to join our team at Integra LifeSciences. As a key member of our facilities and equipment team, you will be responsible for the initiation and implementation of facilities and equipment projects in our GMP manufacturing, laboratory, support, and non-GMP spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and implement facilities and equipment projects, including construction, equipment specification, installation, qualification, and validation.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with GMP regulations and quality standards.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on facilities and equipment-related matters.
  • Ensure that all facilities and equipment are properly maintained, inspected, and validated to ensure compliance with GMP regulations.
  • Develop and implement procedures for asset life cycle management, including validation, commissioning, and qualification.
  • Participate in technology transfer activities to ensure that manufacturing specifications are well within facilities' validated states.
  • Lead equipment trouble shooting, repairs, and restorations, and develop validation master plans and protocols for new or restored GMP facilities and equipment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant technical science, or military experience equivalent.
  • Knowledgeable in various off-the-shelf software applications (MS Office, MS Project, CAD) and customized systems (CMMS).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Medical device critical facilities experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-level customer service.
