Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Operations Director to lead our Collagen Manufacturing Center (CMC) at Integra LifeSciences. As a key member of our plant leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with FDA medical device regulations and ISO Standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive high performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Lead a team of manufacturing managers to oversee production operations, manage production orders, and coordinate logistics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategies oriented to production operations plans, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, including structured problem-solving, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements.
  • Facilitate teamwork and cooperation to develop a LEAN culture, focusing on employee engagement and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meet specifications.
  • Champion employee talent development through active management and coaching.
  • Collaborate with peer plant leadership team members to resolve issues and solve problems.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, company policies, safety practices, and Clean Room Rules, and Gowning Practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or other relevant field.
  • 15 years of professional experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, including 5 years in a management position.
  • Demonstrated organizational and communication skills, strong leadership skills, and team-focused attitude.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of FDA regulations and other National and International regulations and standards.
  • Demonstrated computer skills and strong background in continuous improvement and problem-solving.
