Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team at United Surgical Partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality radiographs and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all radiographic procedures as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual.
  • Participate in the development of policies and procedures within the department.
  • Ensure high-quality radiology work and notify the department director of any equipment malfunctions.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of filing and logging in x-rays, as well as reporting radiology findings to physicians.
  • Participate in performance improvement plans and serve as a resource to other healthcare team members.
  • Maintain patient, physician, and employee confidentiality and adhere to the Center's professional conduct and dress code policy.
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with visitors, physicians, and their office staffs, patients, and employees.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in C-Arm and Portable x-rays in an operating room setting.
  • AART Registered.
  • Knowledgeable of local, state, federal, and Joint Commission Regulations.
  • Independent decision-making skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients, and families.
