Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team at Providence Surgery and Procedure Center. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for performing high-quality radiographs and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures as written in the Policy and Procedure Manual
  • Participate in the development of policies and procedures within the department
  • Perform high-quality radiology work
  • Notify the department director of equipment/machine malfunctions
  • Adhere to policies and procedures as defined by Infection Control
  • Demonstrate knowledge of filing and logging in of x-rays
  • Demonstrate knowledge of reporting systems for radiology findings to physicians
  • Participate in Performance Improvement Plans
  • Serve as a resource to other members of the healthcare team
  • Act in accordance with the vision, mission, and business philosophy of the Center
  • Maintain patient, physician, and employee privacy and confidentiality per policy
  • Follow the Center's professional conduct and dress code policy
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with visitors, physicians, and their office staffs, patients, and employees
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in C-Arm and Portable x-rays in an operating room setting
  • AART Registered
  • Knowledgeable of local, state, federal, and Joint Commission Regulations
  • Must possess independent decision-making skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients, and families
