Protecting National Security and Advancing Technology

ManTech International Corporation is seeking skilled professionals to join our team in the development of complex cloud systems. As a Software Application Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of information systems assets and protecting systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex cloud systems based on documented requirements
  • Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results
  • Resolve software problem reports and utilize software development and design methodologies
  • Provide input to the software components of system design, including hardware/software trade-offs and requirements analysis
  • Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
  • Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
  • Debug existing software and correct defects
  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
  • Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
  • Make recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • 2 years of software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes or 4 years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • Experience with Python, Angular, and React, knowledge with Docker, and familiarity with Kubernetes
