Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join our team at ManTech. As a Cloud Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse Big-Data cloud systems based on documented requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution
  • Modify software and algorithms designed for traditional environments to operate in cloud environments
  • Provide support to platforms and services based on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other commercial cloud hosting environments
  • Provide support to platforms and services running in Kubernetes Orchestration Platform
  • Support the transition of operational systems and applications from traditional platforms to containerized/serverless environments
  • Maintain and integrate software into Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Support operational systems utilizing Kubernetes Orchestration Platform

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
  • Or 4 additional years may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • 7 years of software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes
  • Perform requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution Modify software and algorithms designed for traditional environments to operate in cloud environments
  • Must have Kubernetes experience

Certification Requirements:

One or more of the following:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
  • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have current/active TS/SCI w Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
