Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, an affiliate of Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support services.

This is a per diem opportunity with variable days, averaging 36 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary range of $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

* Transport patients, specimens, requisitions, and other patient-related items to and from designated areas of the hospital.

* Provide assistance with patient assessment and care provision under the direction of Registered Nurses.

* Assist with maintaining equipment and supplies, including cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing equipment.

* Participate in dispatching calls in order of priority, managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks.

Requirements:

* Minimum 6 months of Customer Service and/or Healthcare related background.

* Proven effective communication skills.

* LNA Certification or equivalent preferred.

* Some HS level education and training required.
