Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Backend Engineer for Minting and Backend at Crossmint, you will be responsible for developing the software and infrastructure needed to custody NFTs and other digital assets. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing high-quality code that is correct, secure, performant, and maintainable.
- Writing architectural and design documents individually and with the team.
- Running projects end-to-end from conceptualization to shipping and beyond.
- Participating in paid on-call shifts (once or twice a quarter).
- Mentoring new team members.
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills with a strong command of written and spoken English.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent knowledge and skills with industry experience.
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in developing production systems, with a focus on minting technologies.
- Advanced knowledge in at least one modern programming language such as Typescript, Javascript, Java, Python, Go, Rust, Solidity, Kotlin, etc.
We highly value candidates with the following experiences:
- Provable experience shipping high-quality code.
- Excellent reading and writing comprehension skills in English.
- Experience working on a team and references to back it.
- Educational background: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent knowledge and skills with industry experience.
- Programming expertise: Showcase advanced knowledge in at least one modern programming language such as Typescript, Javascript, Java, Python, Go, Rust, Solidity, Kotlin, etc.
