Behavior Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Behavior Therapist to join our team at ABS Kids. As a Behavior Therapist, you will work with children with autism spectrum disorder and their families, providing essential life skills and promoting communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach children through play and follow treatment plans tailored to each child's needs
  • Observe, play, and collect data to write progress notes
  • Help children develop essential life skills, such as motor skills, social skills, and emotional skills
  • Work with children to shape challenging behaviors into communication skills

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with children
  • Lots of energy, playfulness, creativity, and ability to think on your feet
  • Dependability and ability to be counted on by clients and their families
  • Ability to constantly get up and down from the floor and move quickly
  • Tech savviness and comfort with learning data collection software and Microsoft Office 365
  • Desire to learn, work independently, and provide high-quality care to clients
  • Fluency in Spanish and English

What We Offer:

  • $19.50 - $25.00 per hour
  • Additional $2.00 per hour for weekends and holidays
  • Increase for RBT certification
