Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to clients' dietary preferences and restrictions
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living spaces, doing laundry, and changing bed linens
  • Assist with medication reminders and basic healthcare tasks under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed
  • Document and report any changes in clients' condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to infection control protocols and safety regulations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in healthcare or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or a similar role preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and their families in a respectful and empathetic manner
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
