Volt is actively seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician for a manufacturing client. This role involves critical assembly and testing functions within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform assembly, testing, and programming tasks.
- Exhibit strong hand-eye coordination and near-field vision, with the ability to maintain focus for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks.
- Work effectively in an assembly/test setting, utilizing test equipment, measuring instruments, and programming tools.
- Demonstrate knowledge of ESD and ISO protocols, as well as the ability to recognize electronic components, wiring, and cables.
- Employ voltmeters and oscilloscopes, following provided instructions for their use.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in following both verbal and written instructions from supervisors and technical contacts.
- Strong reading comprehension skills for assembly and testing documentation, ensuring compliance with ISO and ESD standards.
- A flexible and detail-oriented personality, capable of working collaboratively with others and performing repetitive tasks under close supervision.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM
Compensation:
Hourly rate of $22, with variations based on education, experience, job location, and specific duties.
