Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician

Job Summary:
Trident Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for implementing test plans, setting up and conducting tests or experiments with attention to detail, and working effectively across multiple facilities operations disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement test plans and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Set up and conduct tests or experiments with attention to detail, using a wide variety of hand and power tools.
  • Work effectively across multiple facilities operations disciplines, including mechanical, electronics, and instrumentation and controls.
  • Measure, cut, machine, drill, tap, level, etc. per drawing requirements.
  • Independently build and modify assemblies according to engineering drawings.
  • Review completed projects to confirm the final product meets all requirements of the Quality Checklist and request supervisor/manager sign off.

Requirements:
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Team player with good written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Enthusiastic about learning new techniques and applying them on relevant testing.
  • Ability to use a wide variety of hand and power tools.
  • Experience with machine shop.
  • Able to work under supervision, follow directions, and perform works accurately.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • EDVT / MDVT testing experience.
  • Familiarity with environmental chambers, shakers, drop testers, and lab equipment such as accelerometers, strain gauge probes, oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and digital-to-analog converters.

Work Environment:
This position is expected to be highly proficient and work under general supervision and support mechanical, electronics, or instrumentation and controls of moderate to advance complexity. Work may involve complete systems as well as components, modules, or subsystems.
