Senior Clinical Research Specialist

In this role, you will operate with a degree of autonomy to oversee the clinical evaluations of study participants; interpret and analyze moderately intricate clinical research findings. You will also be responsible for drafting grant proposals and documentation, as well as facilitating protocol submissions (e.g., Institutional Review Board, Grants and Contracts Office).
Key Responsibilities
1. Evaluate and interpret moderately complex clinical research findings.
2. Manage the clinical evaluations of study participants, which includes screening and assessing candidates for studies.
3. Draft and ensure the submission of grant proposals and IRB/GCO documentation.
4. Guarantee the accurate and thorough compilation of participant data through chart reviews.
5. Support the Principal Investigator and regulatory personnel in preparing new protocol submissions, amendments, and renewals for ongoing clinical trials.
6. Secure informed consent under the guidance of the Principal Investigator, Clinical Research Manager, or Senior Clinical Research Coordinator for studies involving vulnerable populations and genetic testing.
7. Independently obtain informed consent for other clinical research studies.
8. Provide mentorship to Clinical Research Coordinators in training.
9. Perform additional related tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical research.
