Clinical Research Specialist

At the Simons Foundation, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Specialist to support our data activities for clinical cohorts. The successful candidate will contribute to data standardization and release, quality assurance of clinical datasets, and collaborate with external researchers to ensure their datasets are returned to the foundation.

Key Responsibilities
Contribute to data quality and cleaning efforts for all SFARI cohorts and other clinical data sets.
Assist with developing and testing relevant data collection and review platforms.
Advise the Informatics team on the management and release of clinical data and the implementation of data standardization.
Collaborate with SPARK and Simons Searchlight teams at Boston Children's Hospital to identify relevant measures for use in cohorts and plan order of release based on research priorities and other needs.

Requirements
Ph.D., D.Ed., or Master's degree and 2 or more years' experience in a related research or clinical field.
Experience with human participants research, data entry, scoring, and summarizing surveys and common psychological measures.
Familiarity with ASD and other neurodevelopmental diagnoses, proficiency with basic data cleaning and preparing descriptive summary statistics, and experience with manipulating data files and using functions and formulas in Excel.

What We Offer
The Simons Foundation provides a competitive salary range of $77,000 - $85,000, depending on experience, and an outstanding benefits package.
