Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales department and team in moving, parking, and rearranging vehicles
  • Wash and clean vehicle exteriors, interiors, and windows
  • Apply wax and other protective coatings to vehicle surfaces
  • Vacuum interiors to remove loose dirt and debris
  • Clean and condition upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces
  • Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to interior surfaces
  • Clean engines and engine compartments using steam-cleaning equipment and cleaning agents
  • Inspect vehicles for defects and damage
  • Restore appearance of engine areas, rugs, and upholstery using touch-up paint and other materials
  • Restore and recondition vehicles that have been sitting or driven for long periods
  • Fuel vehicles as needed
  • Apply dressing to tires and tire wells
  • Replace missing or defective small parts
  • Remove window stickers from sold vehicles
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Follow all attendance and punctuality standards
  • Follow lawful directions from supervisors
  • Uphold company confidentiality and non-disclosure policies
  • Attend company meetings as required
  • Work evening, weekend, and holiday hours as needed
  • Maintain a professional appearance and a neat work area

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least six months of related experience and/or training
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of related experience and/or training
  • Previous detailing experience

Work Environment

The Clear Shield Detailer will work in a fast-paced environment with heavy physical demands, including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 100 pounds of force occasionally. The position requires the ability to stand, sit, crawl, climb, stoop, kneel, reach, and grasp. The position involves repetitive motion and may require working in a covered area or outside in various weather conditions.
