About the Role

Oxford Government Consulting is seeking a qualified General Clerk I to support a major document conversion services project. As part of a current federal contract award, this role involves scanning, indexing, data extraction, and transmission of images and data via secure web connection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and scanning of documents for electronic capture
  • Reviewing optical character recognition process for accuracy
  • Operating scanning and data entry devices to index paper-based claim documents into electronic format
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of experience in document management or related field
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within document management
  • Strong computer skills and high key strokes per hour
  • Capability of frequently lifting 5 to 10 pounds and working well with coworkers and managers
Estimated Salary Range

$45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
