Job Title: Registered Nurse - CVICU

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to provide exceptional care to our patients and their families. As a Registered Nurse in our CVICU, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contributing to a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient information, including vital signs, medications, and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current registration in Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Current Cardiac Surgery ICU, VAD, Heart Transplant experience preferred.
  • Ability to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract.
