Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to provide exceptional care to our patients and their families. As a Registered Nurse in our CVICU, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, while promoting a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients on the intermediate cardiovascular and surgical division
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and report patient status to the healthcare team, including vital signs, lab results, and medication administration
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
  • Participate in patient and family education, including discharge planning and follow-up care
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts
  • Current Cardiac Surgery ICU, VAD, Heart Transplant experience preferred
  • Ability to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract
