Job Summary:
Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of technical procedures in the catheterization laboratory, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other interventional procedures.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and imaging systems.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement effective patient care plans, taking into account individual patient needs and medical histories.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical technologies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiologic and Imaging Sciences (RIS) or equivalent.
- Experience in catheterization laboratory procedures, including cardiac catheterizations and angioplasties.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, as needed.
