Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac catheterization, cerebrovascular angiography, and other related procedures.
Responsibilities- Perform cardiac catheterization procedures, including coronary angiograms, stent placements, and balloon angioplasties.
- Assist with cerebrovascular angiography procedures, including cerebral angiograms and aneurysm treatments.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including angiography machines and fluoroscopy units.
- Collaborate with interventional cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology.
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Catheterization Laboratory setting, with a focus on cardiac catheterization and cerebrovascular angiography.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
