Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Admit patients, verify information, and update necessary details using Epic/OpTime system.
  • Coordinate with patients, guests, and family members to ensure timely transportation from the Surgery Center.
  • Manage multiple tasks, prioritize duties, and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Answer phone calls, screen calls, and distribute messages to staff in a timely manner.
  • Act as a resource to staff, patients, and families, providing clear and concise information.
  • Maintain stock of office supplies, prepare paperwork, and create forms as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work part-time, 2 10-hour shifts per week, with occasional overtime.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Receptionist in a medical setting.
  • Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes.
  • Experience working in a hospital, physician's office, or medical clinic setting.
