Job Summary:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Test Specialist to join our team. As an EMI Test Specialist, you will be responsible for executing various EMI and power quality test activities on cutting-edge programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform EMI qualification test campaigns on advanced systems
  • Coordinate test equipment availability for verification of EMI design requirements with teammates, customers, and system architects
  • Execute test procedures and prepare test results for test reports
  • Perform EMI/EMC, DO-160, MIL-STD-704 Power Quality, HIRF, Lightning, RF co-site and antenna coupling testing
  • Apply EMI engineering technology experience to document and solve complex problems
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed

Requirements:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
  • Ability to obtain a US DOD Secret Security Clearance
  • Current or prior experience performing EMI/EMC testing
  • Current or prior experience performing EMI test procedures and preparing test reports

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Active US DOD Secret Security Clearance
  • International Association for Radio Telecommunications and Electromagnetics (iNARTE) MIL-STD-461 certification
  • Familiarization of RF and measurement instrumentation such as receivers, antennas, analyzers and amplifiers
