Job SummaryUnder the supervision of the Special Education Resource Team, this position works in partnership with the Resource Specialist and classroom staff to provide designated instructional services to students with exceptional needs who face challenges to their academic and social success.
The focus is on assisting students to meet required literacy and transition goals, with a commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

This office is establishing an open eligibility list for the Special Education Technician - Resource Specialist Program (RSP) position.
Candidates on the eligibility list may be considered for any full-time, part-time, or limited-term positions occurring within 6 months of the established list for this job classification.
Applicants considered most qualified by a screening panel will continue in the selection process, which may include a written and/or performance exam, in addition to an oral examination.
Candidates on the eligibility list will be eligible for a final interview when a vacancy arises for this job classification.
