About the Role

This Operating Room RN will provide nursing care to a defined group of patients, adhering to Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington ambulatory Nursing Care Standards. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop, coordinate, and implement a plan of care that is patient-focused and outcome-driven.

The estimated salary for this role is around $120,000 per year, reflecting the competitive wages offered by Kaiser Permanente. Additionally, employees enjoy various benefits, including up to 15% increase with a $2.00 hour Acute Care premium.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the ongoing needs of designated patients requiring hospitalization; initiate nursing admission database and discharge planning in collaboration with inpatient staff and physician.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members to accomplish the workload, ensuring a safe environment for each patient.
  • Participate in professional activities, such as quality assurance and multidisciplinary teams, to assure quality of care.
