Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Home Health Hospice Visiting Nurse in Tacoma. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive skilled nursing care and services to patients in their home setting.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans, focusing on pain and symptom management, and adjustments to health status.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and timely documentation.
  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and hazardous waste protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Provide specialized nursing interventions, including injections, wound care, and catheter maintenance, and educate patients and caregivers on self-care activities and home safety.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in medical-surgical, home health, or hospice settings.
  • Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program and a valid Washington State RN license.
  • Basic Life Support certification and a reliable vehicle with automobile insurance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with home care systems, such as Horizon for Home Care.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $108,000-$140,000 per year, depending on experience. Kaiser Permanente offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plans, and paid time off.
