ROLE SUMMARY
The BESS Electrical Engineer plays a crucial role in the design, integration, and execution of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across diverse projects. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of electrical engineering concepts, BESS technologies, and project management to guarantee effective integration and superior performance of energy storage systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop electrical frameworks for BESS projects, including schematics, layouts, and specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to incorporate BESS into both existing and new energy systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations for BESS integration.
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing phases of BESS systems.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and project specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges associated with BESS installations.
- Provide technical assistance and direction to project teams and clients.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including reports, manuals, and drawings.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in BESS technology and industry developments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of BESS projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and BESS technologies.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to work collaboratively in a team setting and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous.
