Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Transplant Unit team at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of excellence in patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, formulate, and implement nursing diagnoses and goals for patients undergoing transplant procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the transplant journey.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma required; BSN preferred.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
  • Minimum of one year of RN experience; transplant LVAD or cardiovascular surgery experience preferred.
