About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Multilingual Advocate Specialist to join our team at the Community Resource Center. As a key member of our Domestic Violence Services department, you will provide crisis intervention, criminal justice support, and advocacy services to victims of crime.

The estimated salary for this role is $22-$25 per hour, based on industry standards and location considerations. If you are passionate about making a difference in your community, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide immediate emotional and physical care for victims/survivors
  • Assess immediate victim/survivor needs and assist with shelter placement/referral if required
  • Perform advocacy on behalf of participants with outside service providers
  • Facilitate coordination of services among various agencies; advocate for and link clients to needed services

Requirements:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Some human service experience, especially case management and crisis intervention
  • Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a social service-related field
  • State certified 40-hour Domestic Violence Counselor training or complete within 90 days of hire
