We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating mammographic and radiographic equipment, performing procedures, and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Operate mammographic and radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images
- Perform mammography and radiographic procedures in accordance with established standards and procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology
- Certified as an ARRT and certified in Mammography
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed
- Constantly: standing, walking, operating machinery, exposure to radiation and chemical hazards
- Frequently: reaching, stooping, crouching, kneeling, twisting, balance, lifting and carrying 0-100 lbs
- Occasionally: pushing and pulling 40-100 lbs
- Visual: close paperwork, VDT used, color vision required
- Hearing: conversation, monitoring equipment, telephone, background noise
