Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to ensure safety and compliance with specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine construction requirements and plan procedures.
  • Estimate and order materials, and evaluate worker requirements to complete jobs.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of workers.
  • Confer with managerial and technical personnel, other departments, and contractors to resolve problems and coordinate activities.
  • Record information such as personnel, production, and operational data on specified forms and reports.
  • Assign work to employees based on material and worker requirements of specific jobs.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in the electrical industry is required.
  • Knowledge of building and construction, mathematics, customer and personal service, and evaluating information to determine compliance with standards.
  • Skills in active listening, professionalism, reading comprehension, troubleshooting, equipment selection, judgment and decision making, and time management.
