Activities Coordinator

As a key member of the Sunrise Senior Living team, the Activities Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining a balanced and engaging resident-centered activity program. This position is responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation of activities that promote socialization, mental stimulation, and overall well-being among residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive activity program that meets the diverse needs and interests of residents.
- Support the recruitment and retention of volunteers to assist with activity programming.
- Review and maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity logs.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless integration of activities with resident care plans.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff members. A passion for working with seniors and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service are essential.
