Job Opportunity at Salem Media Group

We are seeking a highly motivated sales professional to join our team as a Media Strategist/Account Executive. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling and managing our multi-media marketing solutions, including radio, digital, and event sales, to local small and medium-sized businesses.

Responsibilities:
  • Prospect for local and regional businesses, identifying decision-makers and creating compelling advertising presentations that address client objectives.
  • Stay current on local digital marketing trends and opportunities, researching and analyzing client needs to develop strategic marketing proposals.
  • Accurately project revenues and meet/exceed monthly budgets for all product lines, while developing new business opportunities to meet and exceed client expectations.
Qualifications:
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales goals in both on-air and online media.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital products and their positioning in the marketplace.
  • Able to understand categories of businesses to prospect in and develop in-depth needs analysis to uncover client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present multi-varied solutions to groups of people.
  • Able to work with a diverse group of clients and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
