What We Are Looking For:
We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled construction recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. This individual will help grow and establish our new division while supporting ARIVA Group in developing a robust operational framework. In this role, you will effectively manage candidates throughout the recruitment and selection process for various positions within the construction industry across South Texas. Given the entrepreneurial mindset needed to excel in this position, you will stay informed about market trends and utilize innovative recruiting strategies to attract top talent to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete recruitment lifecycle and ensure hiring objectives are met. This includes crafting engaging job descriptions, sourcing diverse candidate pools, promoting the company’s brand to attract top talent, screening applicants, advising stakeholders on the recruitment process, and negotiating offers.
- Identify exceptional candidates. Go beyond standard applications by utilizing search engines, career platforms, recruitment events, and other creative sourcing methods to find and recruit the best talent in the competitive construction market.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand specific talent requirements.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract and recruit top talent, managing the candidate development process from initial contact to offer acceptance.
- Work collaboratively with a team of high-performing recruiters and foster a culture of inspiration, empowerment, and inclusivity.
- Utilize recruitment data to proactively provide updates and hiring metrics to leadership and HR partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Corporate or Agency Recruiting – full lifecycle, market analysis, and sourcing
- At least 2 years of experience working with multiple hiring managers simultaneously while building and maintaining strong working relationships
- Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification is preferred
- Ability to influence and achieve results in a fast-paced environment
- Innovative approach to attracting and recruiting diverse talent
- Knowledge of compensation and general HR practices related to hiring
