  • Assist in communicating program information to encourage support from students, staff, parents, administrators, and community
  • Assist program in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements

  • Flexibility to assume job duties at another site when needed
  • Practice confidentiality at all times

Requirements:
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent high school certificate
  • Food service experience beneficial, but not required
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Must have the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time; exhibit manual dexterity to perform all aspects related to food preparation and equipment use.

Ability to see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels; physical agility to lift/carry up to 50 pounds; to bend, to stoop, to climb stairs, to walk, to reach overhead, and to use repetitive motion in the same position for extended periods of time.

Must have the ability to wear protective attire in the food service operation. Ability to work in kitchens that exhibit moist and hot environments.
