The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Med/Surg - Hematology Unit. As a Part-Time RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing, and addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in hematology and medical-surgical nursing.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of teamwork, respect, and open communication.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- 1-2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing, with a focus on hematology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
