Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the city's wastewater collection system, ensuring it operates efficiently and effectively. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to emergencies, and collaborating with other departments as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the city's wastewater collection system, including pipes, manholes, and lift stations
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment
  • Responding to emergencies, such as sewer backups and overflows
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as public works and environmental services

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid North Dakota Class B driver's license with air brake endorsement
  • The ability to learn and understand hazards and safety precautions common to excavations, manholes, and lift stations
  • The ability to perform moderately heavy tasks for extended periods in all types of weather

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,500 - $67,000 per year, depending on experience. The starting salary for this position is $45,500 per year. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
