Nephrology Dialysis Centers Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner

Emory Healthcare is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Nephrology team in our Dialysis Centers around Metro Atlanta.
This is a weekday position with a schedule of 4-10 hour shifts per week, with no call, nights, or weekend requirements.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of Nephrology or dialysis experience as an Acute Care NP or PA, with NP candidates requiring Acute Care certification (ACNP or AGACNP).
Responsibilities- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients
- Document the delivery of care in the individual's medical records
- Conduct patient interviews and document patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems or potential problems
- Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures
- Assist physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment
- Completion of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia
- May require at least one year of direct experience in American Heart Association BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required
