Job Title: Nephrology Dialysis Centers Physician AssistantJob Summary:

Emory Healthcare is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our Nephrology team in our Dialysis Centers around Metro Atlanta. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide treatment to inpatient Nephrology patients on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients.
  • Documents the delivery of care in the individual's medical records.
  • Conducts patient interviews and documents patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status and medical problems or potential problems.
  • Under the direction of a physician, performs physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures.
  • Assists physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Currently licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Medical Examiners.
  • May require at least one year of direct experience in American Heart Association BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required.
